Vintage Ski Set

With a bit of luck, we were able to acquire an extremely rare vintage ski set. It consists of:
Skis
Attenhofer, 160 cm in length. Like-new stock from the 1940s with slight signs of storage. Manufactured in Zumikon, Switzerland.
Good to know: In the 1940s, the average height of adults in Switzerland was approximately 157 cm (women) and 167 cm (men).
Aluminum ski tips
Manufactured in the 1950s by the company “SIGG” (manufacturer of the well-known aluminum travel water bottle) in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
Good to know: At that time, serious skiers always carried a spare ski tip with them, as the wooden tips broke easily in rough terrain.
Bindings
Attenhofer “ALPINA.” Like-new stock from the 1940s.
Poles
Bamboo from the 1940s, with leather grips and hand straps. 130 cm long, with new baskets (diameter: 16 cm).
Ski boots
Bally “AIR LINE” with double lacing, 29 cm long (size 6½). Slightly used. Manufactured in the 1950s in Schönenwerd, Switzerland.
Glacier goggles
Swiss military glacier goggles with travel case from the 1940s.
